Trust in Public Schools is at an All Time Low

People don't trust the public schools

A New Gallup Poll has found that confidence in public schools has declined in recent years. In 2021, 32% of Americans expressed confidence in public schools. This number declined to 28% in 2022 and 26% in 2023. The reasons for this decline are not entirely clear, but it may be due to a number of factors, including:

  • Concerns about the quality of education. Some people believe that public schools are not doing a good job of preparing students for college and the workforce.

  • School safety. There have been a number of high-profile school shootings in recent years, which has led to concerns about the safety of students in public schools.

  • Rogue Sex-Ed. There have been increasing clashes due to unwanted Sex-Education, purposeful denial of parental rights in matters of student gender identity, and providing pornography to children.
