According to Kim Phillips-Knope, the Michigan Department of Education LGBTQ+ Project Lead, trans students can enter and use whatever bathroom or locker-room they wish. And if another student is uncomfortable with this, the other student must find another place to use the facilities. This effectively removes all access controls on bathrooms and locker-rooms. For instance, a 6th grade school girl must allow an 8th grade boy, who claims to be trans, into her locker-room while changing.
